I’m in my forties, I live in Brighton with two boys (one canine, one feline). I’m vegetarian, feminist and have a sense of humour.

Here is the home for my forays into life in my forties. Your experiences may be the same, regardless of your age. Your experiences may be different. Hopefully you will enjoy my meanderings regardless. If you do, let me know.

I have also included, for completeness, posts from a previous blog I wrote – all food-related!  They were written at a time when I was expanding the number of dishes I cook in the hopes of expanding my foodie horizons. I do most of my cooking on a Sunday, with a view to putting in tupperware many of my lunches for the week.
